Reflection

Today I discovered that when you subtract using tens and ones it makes more seance if you subtract the
ones first.

The best part of this is it is faster way to subtract.

My next step is to try and find more different ways to subtract.

Narrative poem

                                             The Mystery Of Morning Tea

I had yummy morning tea.

A bird flew to a tree beside me.

The bird flew around the corner.

I chased the speedy foreigner.

To me the bird is annoying.                                                  

The bird was full of prying.

His wings shove tons of bugs.

And he ate lots of slugs.

I hope that bird next time

won’t be so mean.

This bird loves to

keep his feathers clean.

I have been learning to write narrative poems.

I got better at making my narrative poems longer by adding detail.

Next time I will focus on different  ideas so my poem has more interesting detail.

Today I discovered that there are many different fractions.  I had to count the coloured pieces and to figure out the fraction.  Next I would like to work with more difficult fractions.
